For more than 30 years, I have worked where precision meets fine jewelry and watches. My career includes Tiffany & Co., Cartier, Vhernier, Rolex and Patek Philippe.
Today I use that experience to give private clients honest answers, clear value and discreet options for the pieces they already own.
I WALKED IN AFRAID. I BUILT ANYWAY.
In 2013, I relocated to Miami to help open Cartier at Aventura Mall. The city was still flooded after a storm and I walked in afraid, but determined. I had never worked with Cartier. I did not speak Spanish, but I spoke money.
Within one year, I built a loyal private client following and sold the most expensive and complicated timepiece at Cartier’s grand opening event. Success came quickly, but I also learned that a beautiful store means nothing when there is no room to grow.
I resigned, chose peace and stepped away to focus on my children. Sometimes the strongest decision is knowing when to walk away and choose yourself.
I HAVE NEVER MEASURED PEOPLE BY THEIR TITLE.
That little Cartier hat belonged to the models hired to serve drinks and hors d’oeuvres at our event. I borrowed it for this photograph because I have always believed that every person in the room deserves to feel seen, respected and included.
That is how I built my career and why clients continued to follow me from one luxury house to the next. They were never just transactions. They trusted my honesty, my standards and the way I treated people.
Today, many of the clients who once bought beautiful pieces from me come to XAMMANY to use those same pieces as private capital. The relationship came first. It still does.

Born in Laos and forced to begin again as a child refugee, I learned survival before I understood ownership. I learned how to keep going when life changed everything without asking permission.
Built Quietly is not a polished success story written from the finish line. It is the truth about starting over, refusing to play small, leading instead of following and building a life that truly belongs to you.
I wrote this book for the people who refuse to give up. For those brave enough to be different. For anyone rebuilding quietly while carrying more than the world can see.

You do not need to have everything figured out. You do not need anyone’s permission. You only need to remember that your story is not over.
